Bartlett, TN: 16 ft Glastron Swinger Gone in One Morning

A 16 ft Glastron Swinger sat in a Bartlett driveway for three years. The fiberglass hull had faded from its original orange metal-flake to a dull grey, and the single-axle trailer underneath had bent so badly the frame was twisted. The owner had stopped looking at it somewhere around year two. The boat was tucked tight against the property line with a garage on one side and a fence line on the other. The bent trailer meant we couldn't roll it straight out to the street, so we brought in a hydraulic lift to raise the hull clear of the frame, then loaded it onto our equipment. The trailer came separately. Most of the work ran under an hour once we had access mapped out. The Glastron went to our processor in Shelby County for separation and recycling. The trailer was cut down and sent for scrap metal. The driveway was clear again. Crews cover all of Shelby County: Memphis, Collierville, Germantown, Arlington, Lakeland, Millington. We handle pickups same week in most cases. A lot of boats move in and out of storage units around Bartlett before winter or after sitting idle for a season, and we've got the routes down to get them loaded and out without delay.
