Bentonville, AR: 14 ft Jon Boat Gone in One Morning

A 14 ft Jon boat 1436 had been sitting in a Bentonville driveway for three seasons, its aluminum hull dented and half full of yard waste and leaves. No trailer underneath it, just gravel and the weight of neglect. The owner had pulled it out of storage years ago, planned to use it, and never got around to either fixing it or figuring out how to get rid of it. By the time we got the call, the boat had become part of the landscape. The real puzzle wasn't the boat itself. It was the access. The driveway narrowed as it approached the house, and the boat sat maybe thirty feet from the street with a fence line tight on one side. We couldn't get a full-size trailer in there, and even if we'd had a smaller rig, the ground had settled unevenly over the years. We brought a heavy-duty skid loader instead, loaded the hull onto a flatbed, and cleared the site under a couple of hours. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per Arkansas regulations. The aluminum hull went to the metal recycler in Benton County. The driveway was clean. The owner didn't have to think about it again. We cover all of Benton County: Springdale, Rogers, Bella Vista, Centerton, Siloam Springs, Lowell. Most pickups happen same week. A lot of calls come in spring when folks pull boats out of storage, or fall when they're winterizing and decide to cut loose a rig that's been sitting. We load it, haul it out, handle the title work. One call gets it done.
