The bank that took over the house after the foreclosure also took over a bowrider nobody there wanted to think about. The previous owner had stopped keeping up payments on both the mortgage and the boat around the same time, and once the bank listed the property, the boat became one more line item slowing the sale down. Two showings had already fallen through partly because buyers didn't want to deal with hauling it off themselves. The driveway ran along a retaining wall close enough that our trailer had only a few inches of clearance on one side, so we eased it out slow with a spotter walking alongside the whole way. Fifteen extra minutes, nothing dramatic. The interior had mildewed past saving and the trailer frame was rusted through, so the whole rig is headed to a recycler, and the listing photos are clean now.
