The call came in about a ski boat still tied to a ramp dock, engine seized, going nowhere on its own. It had been left there after a mechanical failure mid-season, and rather than pay for an in-water repair, the owner just let it sit while dock fees kept accumulating on the account. By the time we got the call, the marina was ready to send its own bill for the slip regardless of who came to get it. Getting a trailer down to the water meant working around a narrow access lane still busy with other boats that week, so we scheduled the pull for early on a weekday morning before traffic picked up. Floated the MasterCraft onto a straight trailer without incident and had it up the lane before most of the marina was even awake. The hull was solid, just the engine gone, so it's headed to a recycler that'll pull the drivetrain first.
