Hurricane season took the motor out of a Wellcraft parked behind a Corpus Christi garage, salt water got into the lower unit during a surge, and it never ran again after that. The owner tried listing it twice as a fixer, dropped the price both times, and still nothing. It sat on a flat trailer with two bad tires for long enough that the hull started cracking along one seam from sun exposure. The driveway itself wasn't the problem, it was a low carport overhang right where the trailer needed to pass, maybe eight inches of clearance on either side. We eased it through slow, spotter walking the back corner the whole way. Once clear, loading onto our truck was routine. The hull was too far gone to resell as parts, so it went to the recycler whole, aluminum trailer scrapped separately.
