Boat Pickup in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

The pontoon parked near Lake Geneva had a soft deck and a trailer that hadn't rolled in years, and the family wanted it gone before the lake association sent another notice about it. It had come from a relative's place originally, moved here after a small estate got divided up, and none of the current owners used it enough to justify fixing the decking that had gone spongy from years of standing water underneath. A letter about the shoreline appearance finally got things moving. What slowed the pull was the trailer, tires rotted through and unsafe to roll even a short distance, so we swapped in loaner tires just to get it off the property before transferring it to our own rig for the real haul. The aluminum tubes and frame were solid enough to recycle whole, the rotted decking got separated out for disposal on its own.
