27 ft Catalina Removal in Camden, NJ

A 27 ft Catalina 27 had been sitting on wooden stands in a Cherry Hill yard for eight years. The standing rigging had seized solid, the sails were rotted inside the bag, and the trailer underneath had settled into the dirt. The owner had stopped thinking about it years ago, but the property line dispute with a neighbor finally pushed the decision. We needed to get it out. The challenge wasn't the boat itself,it was access. The stands had sunk, the trailer frame was stuck, and there was no clear path from the yard to the street without crossing the neighbor's fence line. We brought a crane and a heavy flatbed. The mast came down first, then we jacked the hull clear of the stands and loaded it whole onto the truck. The keel came out once we got it to our yard. Under a morning, start to finish. The fiberglass was still sound, but the rigging damage and rot ruled out any second life. We cut the hull down and routed the material for responsible recycling. The owner got a document showing it was gone. We cover all of Camden County: Cherry Hill, Gloucester, Sicklerville, Winslow, Pennsauken, Voorhees. Most calls come the same week you ring us. A lot of boats move in and out of storage around here, especially in spring and fall, so we're used to tight timelines. You tell us where it sits, we tell you when we can get there, and we handle the rest.
