Four Corners, FL: 28 ft Carver 28 Off the Bottom in One Morning

The owner's call was short: windows on the 28 ft Carver 28 had leaked until the interior gave up. She sank at the ramp, settled by the stern, with the bow pointing up and carpet floating around the cabin.
The interior was soaked, so the boat weighed far more than her listed size. A lift alone would not have worked. We put four lift bags at the hull and tied a winch line to the truck for the last stretch up the ramp. The ramp surface was soft, so we laid plywood under the wheels before the truck pulled.
The job took half a day. Sunken boat removal on a boat this size needs the right truck. The hull was fine, but the interior was ruined, so the Carver went through Clermont to our yard for dismantling and recycling. The only salvage was the engines. We kept the tow short.

Crews cover Lake County: Clermont, Eustis, Groveland, Lady Lake. Lake County crews work the ramps and the lakes. A cruiser on a ramp is a winch job and a plywood job, and we raise it the same week. Tell us the length and how soft the ramp is and we bring the right truck and mats. The haul to our yard is a straight shot on the highway, so a morning raise is back by evening.
