Hauling a sailboat out of a Carmichael driveway

A 26 ft MacGregor 26 sailboat had been sitting in a Carmichael driveway for three years, cabin mildewed and rudder missing, its fiberglass hull chalking under the sun. The owner had bought it with plans to restore it, but life moved on and the boat stayed put, trailer still serviceable but the whole rig impossible to ignore from the street. When we showed up, the real problem was access. The driveway ran narrow between the house and a fence, and the trailer wheels had sunk into soft ground over the years, making it tough to get the tow vehicle lined up for a straight pull. We dug out around the trailer frame, got our winch set, and worked the MacGregor out in stages under an hour. Once it was on our truck, we headed south toward our Sacramento County yard. Back at the facility, we pulled the mast down and removed the keel. The fiberglass hull went through the grinder, and the trailer was recycled separately. The driveway in Carmichael was clear. Crews cover all of Sacramento County: Sacramento, Elk Grove, Arden-Arcade, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova. Most pickups happen within the same week you call.
