18 ft Starcraft Holiday Removal in Cedar Park, TX

An 18 ft Starcraft Holiday 18 runabout had been sitting in a Cedar Park driveway for three years. The aluminum hull had a history of slow leaks from the rivets, and the single axle trailer underneath had rusted so badly the tires wouldn't hold air anymore. The owner had stopped trying to fix it and just wanted it gone. The trailer was the real problem. We couldn't roll it out to the street because the frame had seized where it met the hitch, and one of the frame rails had started to buckle. We backed a flatbed as close as the driveway would allow, then used a winch to pull the whole rig forward about forty feet onto the bed. The boat itself was light enough that the aluminum hull didn't give us trouble once we had it secured. The whole job took most of a morning. We pulled the hull to the metal recycler in Round Rock and filed the paperwork per Texas requirements. No title in the drawer, but that's standard for a boat that old. The aluminum went into the stream, the trailer frame followed, and the driveway was clear. Crews cover all of Travis County: Round Rock, Leander, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Manor, Steiner Ranch. We pick up the same week most of the time. A lot of folks store their boats outside Cedar Park limits during off-season, then move them back in spring, and we handle both ends of that shuffle. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you when we can get there.
