Hauling a bowrider out of a Cerritos driveway

A 19 ft Four Winns Horizon 190 bowrider sat in a Cerritos driveway for three years after the motor seized two summers back. The owner had kept the trailer serviceable enough, but the boat itself was going nowhere, and neither was he. One afternoon he called and gave us the address. We knew the neighborhood, knew the tight driveways that side of Los Angeles County, and knew this one would need careful rigging to get out without taking fence with it. The challenge wasn't the boat's weight or the fiberglass condition. It was the trailer angle and the fence line, maybe six feet off the starboard side. We brought a rotator and a spotter, angled the deck truck at the property line, and used the rotator to swing the whole rig out perpendicular to the driveway instead of dragging it forward. Took most of a morning, but we cleared the fence by two feet and had it loaded clean. The Four Winns went to the processor, where the fiberglass and hardware got sorted for recycling. Crews cover all of Los Angeles County: Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Clarita, Glendale, Lancaster, Palmdale. We pick up same week in most cases, and we're used to the seasonal rhythm here, storage yards emptying out in spring, people moving boats in and out before summer and fall. Cerritos sits right in the middle of our zone, so turnaround is fast.
