Junk Boat Removal in Charleston, West Virginia

Rust had eaten through the trailer bunks under an aluminum Tracker parked behind a Charleston house for a decade. It got used a handful of times after it was bought, then the outboard started flooding on cold starts and nobody chased down why. After that it just sat, low-priority next to everything else going on, until unpaid property fees on a separate storage strip finally forced a decision about what could go. What made the pickup awkward was the slope behind the house, steep enough that we couldn't back a trailer straight in, so we hand-walked the hull down on a dolly to a flatter spot before loading it properly. Aluminum hulls are light enough that two of us managed it without much trouble. Once loaded, the whole thing went to the recycler, hull and trailer both, since neither had resale value left in this shape.

Crews cover all of Kanawha County: Charleston, South Charleston, St Albans, Dunbar, Belle, Cedar Grove, Clendenin, and Teays Valley all sit inside our regular route through the Kanawha Valley. Driveway and yard pickups dominate here since water pulls are rare this far inland. Putnam County gets the same coverage, so a call from Hurricane or Winfield rides along on the same trip.
