Hauling a bowrider out of a Cheyenne driveway

A 20 ft Chaparral 204 SSi bowrider was parked in a driveway in Laramie County for three winters. The fiberglass hull had a cracked windshield frame, and the upholstery inside had gone mildewed. The trailer underneath it wasn't going anywhere,both hubs had seized years ago, and the tires were flat and rotted through. The owner had bought it thinking he'd use it. He hadn't. When we showed up, the real problem was access. The driveway was narrow, and the boat sat deep in the lot with trees on both sides. We couldn't roll the trailer out straight. We winched the Chaparral off the trailer in place, loaded it onto our heavy-duty hauler, and left the trailer for a separate trip. The whole job ran under two hours. We took the hull to the certified processor in Laramie County where the fiberglass gets broken down and recycled.
