Barn Boat Removal in Sheridan, Wyoming

Nobody remembered whose jon boat it was in that Sheridan barn, only that it had been there since before the current owner bought the place. Best guess from a neighbor was it belonged to whoever ranched the land two owners back, used on a stock pond that had since dried up most seasons, motor long gone if it ever had one. The barn itself needed clearing after an insurance walkthrough flagged the clutter as a hazard, and the boat had been pushed into a back corner for so long that dust had built up an inch thick on the hull. The obstacle wasn't the boat, it barely weighs anything, it was the barn floor, uneven dirt that made rolling a hand truck across it slow and careful work to avoid tipping the hull sideways. We got it out without a scratch. With no owner to sign anything and no title system in this state to begin with, we processed the pickup on the property owner's authorization and recycled the aluminum.

Crews cover all of Sheridan County: Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton, Story, Clearmont, Banner, Parkman, and Wolf all sit inside our regular northern Wyoming route. Barn and storage pulls are common here, often turning up a boat with no clear owner left to ask about it. Johnson County gets the same coverage, so a call from Buffalo or Kaycee rides along on the same trip.
