Nobody remembered whose jon boat it was in that Sheridan barn, only that it had been there since before the current owner bought the place. Best guess from a neighbor was it belonged to whoever ranched the land two owners back, used on a stock pond that had since dried up most seasons, motor long gone if it ever had one.
