Auburn, AL: 22 ft Catalina Gone in One Morning

A 22 ft Catalina 22 sat in a residential yard near Opelika for years with the mast down and lashed tight to the deck. The swing-keel trailer underneath had gone flat on both tires, and the whole rig had settled into the grass enough that we couldn't just hitch and roll. We came in with a pneumatic jack system to lift the hull off the ground, replaced the trailer wheels temporarily, and winched the boat onto our recovery trailer using a come-along anchored to a yard tree. The aluminum mast we secured separately for transport. Most of the work took under two hours, start to finish. Back at our yard in Lee County, we pulled the swing keel out and set it aside for recycling, then routed the fiberglass hull to our processor for responsible disposal. The aluminum mast went to scrap. We cover all of Lee County: Phenix City, Opelika, Smiths Station, Notasulga, Loachapoka. Most pickups happen same week.
