A 17 ft Glasspar Seafair runabout came to us in Tuscaloosa County,a sixties classic so far gone the hull had checked and cracked, the engine seized years back. The trailer it sat on had collapsed under its own weight, one axle rusted through, tires long flat. The boat had been parked in a side yard for a decade, and by the time the owner called, moving it meant solving a geometry problem: the trailer was junk, the boat couldn't roll, and the access drive was narrow. We brought a heavy-duty rotator and worked it from the side, lifting the hull off the collapsed frame rather than trying to drag the whole assembly.
