Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Chino driveway

A 22 ft Larson 220 with a cuddy cabin had been sitting in a Chino driveway for three seasons. Rainwater pooled above the deck drain, and one side of the trailer had gone flat, tilting the whole rig at an angle that made it look half-buried. The owner had tried selling it twice. No offers came. Eventually he called us. The flat tire meant we couldn't winch straight onto the rollback. We had to jack the trailer level first, swap the bad wheel for a temporary, and then get the boat high enough to load without scraping the driveway into the truck bed. The fiberglass hull had softened in spots from the standing water, so we braced the cabin from underneath before we moved it. The whole job ran most of a morning. Once it was on the truck, we documented the haul and routed the hull to the San Bernardino County processor for responsible disposal.
