Sunken Pontoon Recovery in Clearwater

Spongy deck boards and a bent rail: the 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 looked tired long before it sank. It went down at a public ramp with the gunwales level with the water, after a hard rain and a drain plug nobody had checked.
The ramp was the complication. Other boaters needed it, and a half-sunk pontoon blocks a launch lane completely. We staged early, before the first trailers arrived, and ran pumps to lighten the tubes while the crew rolled the barge up the slope on its own pontoons. No crane and no closure sign.
About three hours. The tubes were sound and the frame straight, so she went to a repair yard in Largo for new decking and rails, with our crew handling the tow. Salvage here meant the whole boat, which does not happen every time. Good sunken boat recovery sometimes ends that way.

Crews cover Pinellas County: Dunedin, East Lake, Largo, and Oldsmar. We schedule Pinellas County jobs within the same week of the call, and ramp work goes first thing, before launch traffic builds. Crews cross the peninsula on the main causeways, timed away from beach-day congestion. Pinellas ramp lanes fill fast, so we confirm opening hours beforehand.
