Hauling a pontoon out of a Des Moines driveway

A 20 ft Sylvan Mirage 20 pontoon sat in a driveway in Des Moines for three years. The pontoons were stained dark at the waterline, the furniture had rotted through, and the owner had finally decided he wasn't fixing it. The trailer was still serviceable, which helped, but the boat was wedged between a detached garage and a fence line that didn't leave much room to maneuver. We showed up on a Tuesday morning with a heavy-duty trailer and a crane. The tight access meant we couldn't just back a standard wrecker in and winch it out the way most jobs go. Instead, we set up the crane in the front yard, lifted the pontoon straight up over the garage, and set it down on our trailer in the street. From arrival to departure took most of a morning.
