16 ft Lund Removal in Evanston, IL

A 16 ft Lund 1600 Fury had been parked in a Cook County yard for years, the aluminum hull still sound but the transom plywood rotted clean through. The trailer was serviceable, which should have made the job straightforward, but the boat sat wedged between a garage and a fence line with maybe two feet of clearance on either side. We couldn't winch it straight out without taking down sections of fence or risking the hull getting caught. The crew arrived early, measured the angles, and decided to jack the trailer up slightly and angle it nose-first toward the driveway. We worked it out in stages, inch by inch, with spotters on both sides and the trailer tires staying on solid ground the whole time. No damage to the property, no surprises. Under an hour from arrival to loaded. The Lund went to the metal recycler in the Chicago area. Aluminum hull, steel trailer, outboard scrap all separated and processed. Title paperwork was handled per Illinois rules. The yard got its space back. Crews cover all of Cook County: Chicago, Proviso, Maine, Elgin, Hanover, Orland. We pick up same week most of the time, depending on where you are and what we've got scheduled. A lot of boats move in and out of storage facilities around here in spring and fall, so we've got the routes down. Call with your address and boat details, and we'll tell you when we can get there.
