Hauling a bowrider out of a Frisco storage lot

A 19 ft Stingray 195 bowrider had been sitting in a Frisco driveway for three years. The swim platform was delaminated, the fiberglass chalky, and the owner finally decided enough was enough. The trailer was still serviceable, but the boat had settled into the concrete in a way that made a straight pull risky. We came out to assess it on a Tuesday morning. The challenge wasn't the boat itself. It was the gate. The driveway was tight, and the only access ran through a side passage between the house and a fence line that didn't leave much room for maneuvering a loaded trailer. We had to come in at an angle from the street, thread it through, and angle it back out again. One of the crew spotted a drainage culvert that would have caught a wheel if we weren't careful. We took it slow, set up guide lines, and had the Stingray loaded and headed toward the processor in Dallas County before lunch. Once we got it to the facility, the hull went through the crusher. The aluminum trailer got recycled separately. The fiberglass was processed per Texas environmental rules. Job done.
