Hauling a bass boat out of a Glendora driveway

A 17 ft Tracker Pro 170 was sitting in a Glendora driveway, aluminum hull, carpet peeled back and the livewell lid gone. The owner had pulled it out of service a few years back, parked it on a trailer with flat tires, and never quite dealt with it. That's the story we hear most in Los Angeles County,someone buys the boat, uses it hard for a season or two, then life shifts and the boat just stays. The trailer tires were flat and the wheels had seized. The driveway had a tight turn near the garage, and we couldn't get a standard tow rig close enough without taking out a fence. We brought in a smaller wrecker with a winch, set up a pull line from the street, and walked the trailer backward onto the flatbed. Under an hour from arrival to load. No title in the drawer,we handled the paperwork per California rules. The hull went to the metal recycler in the Los Angeles area. The aluminum's still worth something, and that's where it belonged.
