Sunken Cabin Cruiser Recovery in Palm Coast

A green algae line and a chalky hull told the story on the 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera cabin cruiser. She had been tied to a canal seawall for years, never used, and a clogged scupper let the rain fill her until the cabin roof was barely above the surface.
The obstacle was the wall. Houses lined both sides, the street was narrow, and neighbors had cars parked where we needed to set up. So the crew brought everything in by water. We ran lift bags under her from the skiff and kept the dewatering going on the cabin side so she would rise level instead of rolling into the concrete.
About three hours later she floated. A short tow took her to a ramp where the truck waited. The hull was chalked all the way through and the interior was gone, so she went to our yard near Bunnell for dismantling and recycling. The bronze and the engine went out as salvage. That was the whole sunken boat recovery.

Crews cover Flagler County: Bunnell and Flagler Beach. When a boat goes under in Palm Coast or any of those towns, we plan the recovery the same week, sort out the depth and access by photo, and get a crew on site as soon as the water and the schedule allow.
