Hauling a jon boat out of a Hayward salvage job

A 14 ft Jon boat 1436 sat in someone's Hayward backyard for three years, hull dented, half full of yard waste and rainwater. No trailer underneath it. The owner had pulled it out of the water years ago and never got around to doing anything with it, which is how most of these situations start. One afternoon he called and said he needed it gone. The boat was too heavy to move by hand, and without a trailer we couldn't just tow it out. We brought a crane and a flatbed to the site, lifted the Jon boat clear of the ground, and loaded it straight onto the truck. The whole operation ran under an hour. We hauled it to the metal recycler in Alameda County where the aluminum hull got processed alongside thousands of pounds of scrap from that week. No title in the drawer, handled per the California rules. That was it. Crews cover all of Alameda County: Oakland, Fremont, Berkeley, San Leandro, Livermore, Pleasanton. Most pickups in Hayward happen within the same week you call. A lot of our work here is seasonal, people move boats in and out of storage facilities around the Bay, and we handle those transfers regularly. You tell us where the Jon is and when you need it gone. We show up and load it.
