18 ft Checkmate Predictor Removal in Hemet, CA

An 18 ft Checkmate Predictor ski boat had been sitting in a Hemet driveway for three years. The go-fast paint had faded to a chalky white, the outboard was seized solid, and the single-axle trailer had rusted through in spots. The owner had stopped looking at it years ago, but the neighbors hadn't. Getting it out meant working around a narrow side yard with a low-hanging power line running parallel to the property line. We couldn't back a full-size wrecker straight in, so we used a lighter rig to pull the Checkmate forward first, then repositioned for the haul. The rusted trailer bearings screamed when they finally moved. Once we had it angled into the street, a second truck took the load. From gate to truck bed took most of a morning. The hull went to a Riverside County-licensed fiberglass processor. No salvage value in the engine, so the boat was cut and recycled per state rules. The trailer was scrapped separately. The driveway, finally empty. Crews cover all of Riverside County: Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Murrieta, Temecula, Jurupa Valley. We move boats in and out of storage facilities across Hemet year-round, and most pickups in Hemet happen within the same week you call. The routes through Riverside County are familiar ground for us, whether you're pulling a rig out of a residential driveway or a marina slip.
