Inherited Boat Disposal in Hopkinsville, Kentucky

The will split the house three ways and left the boat out entirely, which meant nobody was in charge of it. It sat in the side yard through the whole probate process, tags long expired, while the three heirs focused on the property itself and let the boat become an afterthought. By the time the house sale closed, none of them had claimed it or arranged to move it, so it fell to the estate attorney's office to get somebody out there before closing. The yard's slope toward a drainage swale meant our trailer needed a spotter the whole way down, since the ground got soft enough in one spot to worry about a wheel sinking. Careful fifteen-minute descent. The hull was in decent shape overall, just neglected, so rather than scrap the whole thing we're pulling the usable hardware and pieces before recycling what's left.
