Marina Boat Removal in Islamorada, FL

Keys marinas see more dead boats than most people would guess. This Sea Ray sportfisher had been sitting engine-out for over a year, the owner having pulled both motors for a rebuild that never got finished once the estimate came back higher than expected. Slip fees kept running the whole time regardless, and the marina eventually sent formal notice that the account needed to be settled or the space would go to someone else. That's when we got the call. The tight part of this job was the narrow channel leading out to the marina's boat ramp, barely wide enough for our low-profile trailer to clear at low tide without scraping bottom, so we scheduled the pull around the tide chart instead of our usual window. Once we had it clear, loading went smoothly. The hull still had solid glass despite missing engines, so it went to a fiberglass recycler that also salvaged the remaining hardware. Slip's open again.
