Hauling a sailboat out of a Kentwood storage lot

A 23 ft Hunter 23.5 had been sitting in a Kentwood yard for two winters after a water ballast tank cracked and made the hull unreliable. The fiberglass boat was still rigged when we arrived, and the original trailer underneath it had rusted through enough that moving it in one piece wasn't an option. We dropped the mast on site, pulled the keel at our yard, and cut the hull down to transport it in sections. The whole job ran under a morning from arrival to the last piece loaded. Access was the real constraint. The boat sat deep in a residential lot with a narrow driveway and trees on both sides, so we couldn't get our standard trailer in close. We brought a smaller crane setup instead, rigged the hull, and worked it out piece by piece. Once we had the keel out and the sections staged, everything moved to the processor. No title was in the drawer, and we handled the paperwork per Michigan law. The yard was clear by lunch.
