Wyoming, MI: 21 ft Thompson Gone in One Morning

A 21 ft Thompson 21 cuddy cabin sat in a driveway in Wyoming for three years. The outdrive had been pulled off and never went back in, and the single-axle trailer underneath had bent so badly it wouldn't roll straight. The owner had bought the boat thinking he'd restore it. He didn't. By the time he called, he just wanted it gone. The bent trailer meant we couldn't tow it out the way most jobs work. We brought a heavy-duty rotator and winch truck instead, loaded the hull directly onto the bed, and left the trailer behind for a separate pickup. Access from the driveway to the street ran tight, but we worked it through without taking out fence or siding. The whole job took most of a morning. Once we had it at the yard near Grand Rapids, the fiberglass hull went straight to the processor. No title in the drawer, but we handled the paperwork per Michigan law.
