Hauling a fishing boat out of a La Mirada driveway

A 16 ft Crestliner 1650 had been sitting in someone's driveway in La Mirada for years. Aluminum hull, bench seats long stripped out, and the whole thing packed with leaves and debris. The trailer tongue was bent, which meant we couldn't just hook it to a standard dolly and roll. The boat was wedged tight against the property line with maybe three feet of clearance on one side. We brought a smaller tow rig, positioned it on the street, and used a come-along winch to angle the trailer out incrementally so the tongue would clear the fence. Took us most of a morning to work it free, get the hull secured, and stage it for transport. Once we had it loaded and chained down, we moved it to the metal recycler in Los Angeles County. The aluminum hull got sorted and processed. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per California law. That driveway looked empty again by the end of the day. Crews cover all of Los Angeles County: Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Clarita, Glendale, Lancaster, Palmdale. We pick up the same week in most cases. La Mirada sits right in the middle of our service area, so whether your Crestliner is stored in a yard, a driveway, or waiting at a local marina, we can get there and load it without the long wait times you'd get from an outfit based further out. Seasonal storage moves happen all year around here, and we handle those routes regularly.
