Hauling a pontoon out of a Lake Elsinore salvage job

A 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 pontoon was sitting on the lake bottom in Riverside County with spongy deck boards and a bent rail, and no trailer to haul it out on. The owner had stopped using it years back, and over time the hull took on water. By the time we got the call, it was fully submerged and had been that way long enough that nobody wanted to touch it. We brought in a salvage barge and lifted the pontoon off the bottom, pumped the water out, and secured it for transport. The real work was getting it out of the water and onto our truck without a trailer sitting on the bank. We rigged a crane lift and held it stable while our crew blocked and chained it down to the hauler. Most of a morning, start to finish, and we had the pontoon on the road headed back toward our Riverside County yard. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per California salvage rules. The boat came off the water, came off our truck, and went straight to the recycler. Job done. Crews cover all of Riverside County: Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Murrieta, Temecula, Jurupa Valley. Lake Elsinore sits right in the middle of our service area, so same-week pickups are the norm. We handle a lot of seasonal moves here, boats coming out of storage in spring and going back in fall. That 22-footer of yours gets scheduled, loaded, and hauled out on a timeline that works for you.
