Hauling a cabin cruiser out of a Lakeland driveway

The 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera had been parked in the driveway for three years. Green algae streaked the hull, and the gelcoat had gone chalky across the cabin sides. The tandem axle trailer underneath had rusted so badly the brake lines were corroded through, and one tire had flat-spotted from sitting on it for so long. The owner had bought it thinking he'd fish weekends. Life got in the way. By the time he called us, he just wanted it gone. The real problem wasn't the boat itself, it was the trailer. We couldn't tow it as-is, and the driveway was tight, hemmed in by a fence and a neighbor's property line. We brought a crane truck and a separate flatbed. We lifted the hull off the frame, loaded it straight onto the flatbed, and hauled the trailer separately. The whole job took most of a morning. The Bayliner went to our processor in the Tampa area, where the fiberglass hull was cut down and the scrap was separated. Nothing wasted, nothing left behind. Crews cover all of Lakeland and the surrounding Polk County area. We handle pickups the same week you call most of the time. A lot of boats end up in Lakeland storage lots during the off-season, and we're used to pulling them out when owners decide they're done.
