Hauling a cabin cruiser out of a Mentor salvage job

A 27 ft Chris-Craft Commander 27 sat in a Mentor yard for three years, cabin cruiser with a fuel smell so strong that every buyer who showed up took one look and left. No trailer. The boat was grounded on cinder blocks and concrete pads, weight settling into the lawn, and the only way in or out was a narrow driveway that bent around a garage. We had to bring in a rotator and a heavy-duty winch truck, drop the boat onto a custom steel cradle, and thread the whole rig backward through that driveway without clipping the fence or taking out the power line that hung low over the corner. The crew spent most of a morning on setup and positioning. Once we had the angle right and the cradle locked down, the winch did the work. We routed the hull to the processor in Lake County where the fiberglass gets shredded and the fuel tank gets drained and disposed of properly. The yard was clean by early afternoon. The owner got his space back. We cover all of Lake County: Willoughby, Painesville, Eastlake, Willowick, Wickliffe, Willoughby Hills. Most pickups happen within the same week you call. A lot of boats come out of winter storage in spring or head into it come fall, and we're set up to move them in and out of those seasonal yards without the usual delays. You tell us where the boat is sitting, and we show up ready to load.
