A 16 ft Crestliner 1650 aluminum fishing boat had been parked in a driveway near Los Banos for three years. The bench seats were stripped bare, and the hull was packed solid with leaves and debris. The trailer tongue was bent enough that towing it straight wasn't an option, and the boat sat in a spot where a standard rotator truck couldn't angle in without clipping the neighbor's fence. We brought a flatbed instead of the usual setup. The crew loaded the hull directly onto the deck, sidestepped the trailer problem by leaving it behind for a separate haul, and got the boat out in just under two hours. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per California's rules for abandoned vessels. The aluminum went to the metal recycler in Merced County, and the driveway was clean.
