Middletown, NJ: 25 ft O'Day Gone in One Morning

A 25 ft O'Day 25 had been sitting on wooden stands in Middletown for years, keel bolts weeping rust down the hull in long orange streaks. The owner had stopped using it, the stands had settled unevenly, and the fiberglass was starting to check around the chainplates. No title in the drawer,we handled it per the New Jersey rules. The real problem was access. The boat was wedged between a fence and a storage shed with maybe three feet of clearance on either side. We brought a smaller crane instead of our usual rig, positioned it from the driveway, and lifted the sailboat straight up off the stands rather than trying to winch it out sideways. The mast was already down, so we just had to secure the boom and work around the standing rigging. Once it was on the flatbed, we routed it back to our yard in Monmouth County where we pulled the keel,a heavy job, but routine for us,and cut the hull down for recycling. Most of the morning, start to finish. We cover all of Monmouth County: Howell, Manalapan, Long Branch, Neptune, Ocean, Wall. Most pickups happen the same week you call. A lot of boat owners in the Middletown area move their vessels in and out of seasonal storage, and we handle those transitions regularly. Whether your 25-footer is on a trailer in a driveway or needs to come out of a marina slip, we've got the routes and the equipment to make it happen.
