22 ft Catalina Removal in Moreno Valley, CA

A 22 ft Catalina 22 had been sitting in a Riverside County yard for years with its mast down and lashed tight to the deck. The swing-keel trailer underneath had two flat tires and hadn't moved in so long the owner had stopped thinking about it as a boat and started thinking about it as a permanent fixture. When he finally called, the real work was getting it out of a tight residential spot where the driveway curved and didn't leave much room for a loaded trailer to turn. We brought a flatbed and a spotter. The swing-keel trailer was too compromised to tow safely, so we loaded the hull straight onto the flatbed, secured the mast and boom to the frame, and routed north toward Corona to reach the yard. Most of the job was under two hours once we had the angle right. At the yard, the swing keel came out, the mast was pulled and set aside, and the hull went to the processor for responsible fiberglass recycling. Crews cover all of Riverside County: Riverside, Corona, Murrieta, Temecula, Jurupa Valley, Menifee. Moreno Valley sits right in the middle of our regular route, and we handle pickups same week most of the time. A lot of boats move in and out of storage facilities around here when owners winterize or relocate, and we've timed the logistics to keep that flowing. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you the day.
