Unpaid dockage is usually the first sign a boat has been given up on, and this one had two years of it stacked up before the marina finally acted. The 29 ft Sea Ray had been left mid-repair, engine parts pulled and never reinstalled, and the owner stopped returning calls not long after. The marina put a lien notice on file and eventually cleared the account to have it removed. Getting it out non-running meant a full tow through a channel busy with weekend traffic, so we scheduled the pull for a weekday morning when the marina was quiet.
