Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Columbia pickup

A 23 ft Rinker 232 with a cuddy cabin sat in a driveway in Lexington County, its gelcoat crazed like a road map and the fiberglass starting to weep. The trailer had seized hubs and hadn't moved in years. The owner had inherited it, couldn't sell it, and finally called us to haul it out. We showed up on a Tuesday morning. The real problem wasn't the boat itself,it was the driveway setup. The trailer was parked at an angle near the garage, and backing a heavy wrecker straight in meant clearing some fence work and angling the approach from the street. We spent the first half hour positioning, then winched the Rinker up onto the main bed with the trailer underneath. The whole job ran under two hours from arrival to departure. The hull went to our processor in Columbia. Fiberglass that far gone doesn't have salvage value, and the owner was just glad it was gone. No title in the drawer,we handled that per South Carolina law and moved on. We cover all of Lexington County: Lexington, West Columbia, Seven Oaks, Cayce, Irmo, Oak Grove. Most jobs go same week. A lot of folks around Columbia move boats in and out of storage seasonally, and we handle those pickups year-round. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day works.
