Oxnard, CA: 16 ft Lund Gone in One Morning

A 16 ft Lund 1600 Fury sat in a driveway in Oxnard for three years. The aluminum hull was solid, but the transom had rotted through, the plywood backing was sponge, and saltwater spray from nearby had done its work. The trailer was serviceable, which helped, but the boat was wedged between a fence and a neighbor's property line, and the driveway slope meant we couldn't simply back a flatbed straight in. We came in from the side, angled the truck, and used a winch and guide lines to rotate the whole rig ninety degrees before we could load it. The crew had the boat secured and moving under two hours. Title had gone missing years ago, so we handled the paperwork per California DMV rules for abandoned recreational vessels. The Lund went to the metal recycler in Ventura County. The trailer stayed behind, and the driveway was clear. We cover all of Ventura County: Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, San Buenaventura, Camarillo, Moorpark, Santa Paula. Most jobs in Oxnard move same week. A lot of boats come out of storage in spring or go back in fall, and we handle those seasonal swaps regularly. You call with the address and boat size, we confirm the date, and the crew shows up ready to load.
