Hauling a bowrider out of a Palm Desert driveway

A 19 ft Reinell 190 bowrider sat in a Palm Desert driveway with a cracked engine block from a freeze the previous winter. The owner had winterized nothing, hadn't used the boat in three years, and when the cold snap hit, the damage was done. The trailer was still good, but the boat wasn't going anywhere under its own power, and the owner wasn't about to pay for an engine rebuild on something he'd already stopped thinking about. The driveway was tight, with a low carport overhang and a fence line that left maybe two feet of clearance on one side. We couldn't get a full tow rig in without taking out the fence or backing down the street toward Moreno Valley. So we brought a smaller wrecker, positioned it at the property line, and winched the trailer and boat out in stages. The whole job ran under an hour once we were set up. The Reinell went to the recycling facility as a hull. No title in the drawer, handled per California rules. Trailer stayed with the owner. Crews cover all of Riverside County: Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Murrieta, Temecula, Jurupa Valley. We handle pickups same week in most cases. A lot of boats come through Palm Desert on their way in or out of storage during the season, and we've got the routing down. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you what day works.
