Passaic, NJ: 22 ft Larson Gone in One Morning

A 22 ft Larson 220 with a cuddy cabin sat in a Passaic driveway for three years. Rainwater had pooled above the deck drain, and the trailer had gone flat on one side, tilting the whole rig into the concrete. The owner had stopped looking at it by the time he called. The flat tire meant the trailer wouldn't roll straight, and the boat's weight sat uneven. We couldn't just hitch and pull. The crew jacked the frame level, swapped in a temporary axle, and confirmed the hull was sound enough for the haul. Route out ran through Paterson, so we coordinated the pickup for early morning when traffic was thin. Load and transport took most of a morning. Once on the yard, the Larson went straight to the cutting bay. The fiberglass hull was no good for salvage, so we cut it down for recycling, pulled the usable aluminum and stainless, and ran the rest through the processor.
