Pembroke Pines, FL: 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera Off the Bottom in One Morning

Long before she sank, the owner had stopped using the 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera cabin cruiser, which showed a green algae line and a chalky hull. Rain filled her at a canal seawall, and she went down until the cabin roof barely cleared the surface.
The obstacle was the seawall. Its edge was rough, and a hull rising against rough concrete can tear itself open. So the crew hung fenders along the wall, brought the bags in from the skiff, and let the pump run slowly so she came up straight and clear of the edge.
About four hours, start to finish. A short tow got her to the ramp, and then the truck took her toward Hollywood to our yard. The hull was chalked through and the interior was soaked, so a repair was off the table. She was dismantled and recycled, with the engine and metal parts sold as salvage, a plain sunken boat removal.

Crews cover Broward County: Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Hollywood. When a boat goes under in Pembroke Pines or any of those towns, we plan the recovery the same week, sort out the depth and access by photo, and get a crew on site as soon as the water and the schedule allow.
