Hauling a sailboat out of a Perth Amboy storage lot

A 27 ft Cal 27 sat on concrete stands in a Middlesex County yard, boom missing and the mast corroded solid at the step. The owner had bought it years back, moored it for a season, then pulled it out and parked it. Time did the rest. By the time we got the call, the fiberglass was chalky, the rigging was gone, and the whole thing had become part of the landscape nobody talked about anymore. The trailer was long rotted through. We couldn't roll it anywhere. Access was tight, neighbors close on both sides, and the keel made the hull sit heavy. We came with a crane truck and a flatbed. Lifted the whole thing straight up, mast came down as we cleared the frame, and we got it onto the truck in under an hour. Back at the yard, we pulled the keel, cut the hull into pieces, and sent the fiberglass to the processor in Edison. Aluminum fittings and fasteners got sorted and recycled. The keel went to scrap steel. Crews cover all of Middlesex County: Edison, Piscataway, New Brunswick, East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Sayreville. A 27-foot Cal sitting in Perth Amboy gets loaded and hauled the same week most of the time. We see a lot of seasonal traffic here, boats coming out of winter storage or going in, and we work around those moves. Call with your address and we'll tell you what day we can get there.
