18 ft Starcraft Holiday Removal in Port Orange, FL

An 18 ft Starcraft Holiday 18 sat in a Volusia County driveway for three seasons. The aluminum runabout had a slow leak history, and the riveted hull showed its age. The single-axle trailer underneath had rusted through in spots, and the tires had flat-spotted from sitting. The owner had stopped using it years ago but kept it around just in case. When he finally called, he was tired of looking at it. The trailer couldn't roll on its own, so we brought a heavy-duty dolly and jacked the rig up in stages. The weight distribution was awkward with that much corrosion eating into the frame, but we'd done similar jobs heading down to New Smyrna Beach enough times to know the sequence. Once we had it stable and strapped, the pull-out took most of a morning. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per Florida protocol. The Starcraft went to the metal recycler in Volusia County. Aluminum hull, steel fasteners, trailer frame all separated and processed. The driveway where it sat for three years was empty again. Crews cover all of Volusia County: Deltona, Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, DeLand, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater. Port Orange sits right in the middle of our regular route, so same-week pickup is the norm here. We see a lot of seasonal traffic, boats coming out of storage in spring, going back in before hurricane season, and we've timed the logistics to move fast when the calls come in.
