Hauling a runabout out of a Rockwall yard

A 16 ft Glastron Swinger sat in a driveway just outside Fate with its original orange metal-flake paint dulled to grey and a bent single-axle trailer underneath. The boat hadn't seen water in years, and the owner had finally decided to stop looking at it every time he backed out of the garage. The trailer tires were flat, the tongue had a kink in it, and the whole rig was nose-down on a slope that made straight-line towing risky. We brought a heavy-duty rotator and a spotter to keep the trailer aligned as we winched it off the slope. Once the Glastron was loaded and secured, we routed it to the processor in Rockwall County where the fiberglass hull gets cut down and the usable aluminum gets sorted from the scrap. The whole job took most of a morning, from the first chain around the frame to the last photo of an empty driveway. Crews cover all of Rockwall County: Rockwall and Fate, Mobile City. We handle pickups same week most of the time, depending on where your 16-footer sits. Lots of folks around here move boats in and out of storage seasonally, and we know the routes in and out of the county well enough to work around that traffic. Call with your address and trailer status, and we'll tell you when we can load it.
