20 ft Galaxy Removal in Sacramento, CA

This 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider showed up on our list already half-finished, and not by us. The previous owner had started stripping the interior, pulled seats and some trim, then walked away mid-project. No trailer under it, just the hull sitting low and settled on bare ground, fiberglass exposed where panels used to be. With no trailer, we couldn't just hook up and pull it out the way we do most jobs. We had to rig straps under the hull and winch it onto a flatbed by hand, working around a route that ran through Rancho Cordova to avoid a low clearance closer in. The stripped-out sections made the hull awkward to balance, lighter on one end than the other, so we took our time getting it centered before we moved. Most of a morning, start to finish. There was no title in the drawer, so we handled that part per the California page rules. From there the hull went straight to the processor to be cut down, fiberglass and all, no salvage left to argue about. Crews cover all of Sacramento County: Elk Grove, Arden-Arcade, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Carmichael. Most calls for a 20 ft Galaxy get scheduled the same week, and I try to route them around the seasonal push when folks are moving boats in and out of storage yards before summer or after. If your Galaxy has been sitting since last fall, we can usually work it into that same run.
