A 26 ft Sea Ray 268 Sundancer sat in a driveway in San Jacinto for three years. The transom had gone soft, the bottom paint was peeling, and the owner had finally decided to stop walking past it. No trailer underneath, just blocks and a concrete pad that'd seen better days. The boat was too heavy to winch straight onto our flatbed, and the driveway wasn't wide enough for a side pull without taking out a fence. We brought a second truck, set up a rotating dolly system to shift the weight, and eased it sideways onto the trailer in stages. The whole operation took most of a morning, but the hull came off clean and the driveway was clear by early afternoon. From there it was a straight haul east toward Riverside County's processing facility. The fiberglass got sorted for recycling, the engine and any salvageable hardware went to the scrapyard, and the owner got the paperwork that proved it was gone.
