Santa Maria, CA: 22 ft Larson Gone in One Morning

A 22 ft Larson 220 with a cuddy cabin sat in a Santa Maria yard, rainwater pooling above the deck drain and the fiberglass starting to show it. The trailer had gone flat on one side, which meant the boat was tilted and couldn't roll. The owner had kept it for years thinking he'd fix it up, then stopped thinking about it altogether until he called us. We got there on a Tuesday morning and assessed the tilt and the flat tire right away. The trailer needed to be leveled before we could move it safely, so we brought a jack and extra support to get the weight distributed evenly. Once the frame was stable, we loaded the Larson onto our heavy hauler and secured the hull. The whole process took most of the morning, including the paperwork and title transfer per California rules. The boat went to our processor in Santa Barbara County, where the fiberglass hull was cut down and sorted for recycling. The owner got a release document, the driveway opened up, and the Larson stopped being a problem. We cover all of Santa Barbara County: Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Lompoc, Goleta, Orcutt, Eastern Goleta Valley, and Isla Vista. Most pickups happen within the same week. A lot of boat owners in Santa Maria move their rigs in and out of storage seasonally, and we handle those moves regularly. Whether your 22-footer is sitting in a yard or parked at a storage lot, we know the roads and we know the logistics of getting it out without tearing up the property.
