Raising a 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 in Edgewater, FL

A 22 ft Sun Tracker Party Barge 22 with spongy deck boards and a bent rail came to us stern-down on her mooring, bow pointing at the sky. The owner had watched her settle for a week.
The deck was so soft we could not trust it with strap loads, and the rail would have folded further. So a diver passed two straps around the pontoon logs themselves, and we clipped lift bags to those. Each log came up on its own. The mooring pennant had wrapped the starboard tube, so he cut it clear first, and the crew coiled it back onto the ball.
We worked about two hours from arrival to a pontoon sitting on the trailer. Sunken boat recovery rarely goes that cleanly. The logs were holed and the deck was past fixing, so she went to our yard for dismantling and recycling. The only salvage was the aluminum and the engine bracket. We took the load south through Daytona Beach, and the tow was over by lunch.

Crews cover Volusia County: Daytona Beach, Debary, Deland, Deltona. Volusia crews run the length of the county. When a pontoon goes down on a mooring, the call usually becomes a same-week raise, and our trucks work out of the north end so the haul back rarely crosses a drawbridge. Send the length, the mooring type, and two photos, and we confirm the day by phone.
