13 ft Boston Whaler Removal in Tallahassee, FL

A 13 ft Boston Whaler 13 sat in a driveway just outside Tallahassee for three years. The foam core had absorbed water, making the hull heavy and unstable, and the galvanized trailer underneath had rusted so badly the frame was bent. The skiff wasn't going anywhere on its own, and neither was the trailer. We pulled up on a Tuesday morning and assessed the load. The bent trailer meant we couldn't tow it as one unit, so we rigged a straight haul using our equipment and loaded the Boston Whaler directly onto our truck bed. The waterlogged hull made it heavier than its size suggested, but that's what we come prepared for. Most of the morning we spent securing it and breaking down the trailer for separate transport. Once at the processor, the fiberglass hull was cut down and sorted by material. The galvanized steel went to the metal recycler. No title complications, and the driveway was clear by afternoon. Crews cover all of Tallahassee and Leon County. We pick up same week most of the time. A lot of what we see here is seasonal, boats coming out of storage in spring, or owners realizing they're not using them before hurricane season hits and deciding to get them gone. We've pulled 13-footers off trailers in residential yards, out of storage facilities, and from folks who bought a place and inherited someone else's problem. Call with the address and the boat's condition, and we'll tell you what day works.
